-The 2008/2009 summer season
commences on Saturday 4th October at 9.00am
-Altona centre will be
holding two registration days, the first on Saturday the 20th
September between 9.00am and 11.00am is for re-registrations and
for new registrations where the club has been already selected.
-The second registration
day is on the 27th September between 9.00am and 11.00am and is
for new registrations.
-Membership is $65 per
child and $40 for the third child in the one family.
-The Altona centre this
year, courtesy of the Hobsons Bay council will have new
rubberized run-ups for the Long and Triple jump. New hurdles
have also been ordered for the commencement of the season.
-The Altona centre is
offering families or companies the opportunity to donate a
hurdle to the centre. For $100 a family or company can have
their name painted onto the back of a hurdle in a sponsorship
deal.
-Coaching. Altona centre is
offering relay and sprint coaching each Saturday morning leading
up to the commencement of the season. Only registered athletes
are eligible to attend. From 10.30am to 11.30am |
