Cross Country
A shortened Cross Country season will be
ran this year of around 6 weeks. This is due to a lack of numbers in
final weeks last year. Dates to be advised. The program usually finished within an hour and a minimum number of officials are required. This year ALAC is looking to increase the number of athletes who compete in cross country as we have had much success with just a limited amount of people. Please come along and join in the fun and don't forget to tell all your friends. Cross-Country running is an important part of Little Athletics. It is ideal way for those athletes who enjoy the longer distance races to try a different style of competition. Athletes will have an opportunity to compete at various distances depending on the fitness of the individual athlete. Distance run each week will be. 1000m 1500m 2000m 3000m
